October is busy in the Library LC!

As October rolls on, more and more classes are making use of the Learning Commons.  We have a full house nearly every day at lunch, with students reading, chatting and working.

One exciting event was being the hosts of the Juno Beach Centre Association's board meeting.  It was a great afternoon, with Board members leaving many positive comments about the Library Learning Commons and the school as a whole.

A reminder to all students that backpacks need to be put by the door in the Library LC after valuables have been unpacked. They are a health and safety concern all over the floor, and tucked around tables.  

We are ramping up for the beginning of our book clubs!  GNC for the graphic novel fan, and White Pine lists have been announced for 2013.  Watch this space for more information in the coming weeks.

Finally, it's exciting to see the finishing touches put on the school.  We even now have our sign!
